Delhi to Dharamsala
Welcome to McLeod Ganj! Check into your guest house before heading out on a tour of this fascinating hill station. We’ll visit the Temple of His Holiness The Dalai Lama,Namgyel Monastery, and the Tibet Museum. Afternoon is spent with your guide and porters preparing for your trek.

Gallu to Ilaka Base Camp
Our trek to Indrahar Pass begins with the much loved trek to Ilaka base camp via Truind. The gradual 11km hike weaves you through thick pine forests, oak thickets, rhododendron, and rocky overhangs as the peaks of the Dhauladhar tower overhead. There are two well stocked tea stalls along the way to re-fill water bottle and have a snack. Triund is a very popular day trek and the Triund ridge offers a number of places to have food, or tea, as well as a basic guesthouse.

Today we trek from Triund to Indrahar pass. It’s a steep, relatively strenuous hike which crosses meadows, boulders, and streams as you climb to the towering peak above you. This route is commonly used by Gaddi shepherd, evident in the relatively well kept trails and cairn system.
Indrahar pass is a surreal landscape composed of slabs of compacted steel grey rock. The view is spectacular. To the south the Kangra Valley and plains of Punjab lie in a bluish grey haze and to the north, the snow covered peaks of the mighty Himalayas, including the PirPanjal, lie before you. Rest and enjoy the view, you’ve earned it.

Ilaka Base Camp to Indrahar Pass
Today we trek from Ilaka base to Indrahar pass. It’s a steep, relatively strenuous hike which crosses meadows, boulders, and streams as you climb to the towering peak above you. This route is commonly used by Gaddi shepherd, evident in the relatively well kept trails and cairn system.
Indrahar pass is a surreal landscape composed of slabs of compacted steel grey rock. The view is spectacular. To the south the Kangra Valley and plains of Punjab lie in a bluish grey haze and to the north, the snow covered peaks of the mighty Himalayas, including the PirPanjal, lie before you. Rest and enjoy the view, you’ve earned it. By afternoon, we had navigated back to base camp
Overnight Ilaka Base Camp
McLeod Ganj
Today is an easy trek back to McleodGanj from from Ilaka base camp. Arrive mid-afternoon. Freshen up and treat yourself at one of the many fantastic restaurants the town has to offer, from Korean to traditional Tibetan, McleodGanj has food for all pallets.

Dharamsala to Amritsar
After breakfast we’ll drive down to the fertile plains of the Punjab. After checking into our hotel, we’ll visit Wagah for the closing of the border ceremony between India and Pakistan. This ceremony takes place every evening and involves a display of pomp and grandeur by the Indian and Pakistani border guards. Once it’s finished, we’ll head back to Amritsar where the rest of the evening is at your leisure. Enjoy a tasty dinner in one of the many Punjabi restaurants or take an evening stroll around the holy Sikh Golden Temple, which is open 24 hours a day.

Tour End
This morning we will visit the Golden Temple to enjoy a quiet stroll through the inner corridors as the priests chant from the Sikh holy book. We will visit the langar hall, a massive free community dining room run entirely by volunteers. The Golden Temple langar can serve hot meals to up to 100,000 people a day.
Our tour concludes after late morning checkout from hotel. We will transfer you to the airport for your onward international or domestic flight.
